What are the different types of bankruptcy and which one is right for me?

Mr. McGill was born in Peoria in 1961.  He graduated from Bradley University in 1983, and Southern Illinois University of Law in 1986.  In law school he served on the Board of Editors of the Law Journal.  During his 24 years of practice, he has represented thousands upon thousands of clients throughout the State of Illinois.  His areas of concentration include family law, social security disability & SSI, estate planning & probate, bankruptcy, and other matters of civil litigation.  He has thousands of hours experience at the trial court level and has represented clients before the Appellate Courts in two Appellate Court Districts.  He has represented clients in social security cases outside the State of Illinois.


Mr. McGill is a member of the Peoria County and Illinois State Bar Associations.  He specializes in the counseling of clients who find themselves in difficult legal situations due to bad circumstances.  Wether those bad circumstances arise from marital or family difficulties, pre-bankruptcy financial difficulties, physical disabilities preventing employment as related to social security disability, or the sickness or death of loved one, Mr. McGill can provide the counseling and guidance needed to ease the stresses and pains caused by those circumstances, to the limits of the law.
